The Ironmen, however, dominated the Crusaders, 26-7, to win their first state title in 12 years. That was special, Toal said. Bergen Catholic was just a tremendous program, and it was a big thing for us to go there and beat them. You never forget the first time, and that turned out to be the start of something pretty special. Toal also remembers that game for another reason.
